Next, the white cliffs come into view as we overnight in Britain's castle-topped port of Dover, then head west to Plymouth, a city steeped in maritime history, before reaching Cobh in Ireland. Spend a day exploring Cork, a foodie favorite, before we sail to Dublin for literary heritage and Liverpool to celebrate the music of The Beatles and discover a waterfront brimming with fantastic museums.
